Maximum Grinding?

I've got just one question. When I go looking around at items and see the max grinder and then at the picture of the item, sometimes the +value is greater than the maximum grinder. Does Maximum Grinder mean the number of grinder's you can use on an item or the limit to +value on an item. I'd like to grind my Yamoto's but dont know what grinders to use on them.

Well, I do believe that Yamatos grind to +60. Just use your grinders, once it reaches its max it won't allow you to use anymore.
