Well, I got my copy of PSO v2 import today! I prepared a little quick summary about my first day of online experience with it. :)

So from what you didnt say, you didnt have to pay for the Jap version of the game to play online.... I guess us US users are going yo get the shaft afterall... i hope that it is complete and not a Half a$$ed job.. i would hate to have spent the price of a full price game on a half a$$ed port.....

PSO v1 required a hunters license to play online so why wouldn't v2? Stop wallowing in your own self-pity we're not gettin shafted. Your busy bitching meanwhile the UK people dont even get the game.
Your right the "port" will be half-assed, but I'm pretty sure the "localization" will be just fine.

Is there a firm date yet for the american release? I haven't heard anything new in a while.

I got pso.ver2 and I was wondering if anyone could help me connect.Because when I try connecting it says Isao erro if anyone could help me it would mean alot.

Yes, you have to pay to play on the Japanese
PSO, be it ver1 or ver2, so US users are not
being shafted. Ver1 came with a 30 day free trial
period so if he hasn't had to pay yet, he will.
It converts to about $8US for 90 days of play.
