With the news of the new 'pay to play' system in PSO v.2, I know there are some people who are having second thoughts about ordering the game. But... I know there are probably a lot of you who still plan on buying it (I sure am). PSO v2 is not a "pay to play" game. This is all a misunderstanding becuase on the cover art of the box it says "requires Credit Card to play". This was intended only for those Sega.net users. Waht they meant was to play it online if your gonna sign up for Sega.net to play it, you'd need a credit card to sign up for Sega Net...nothing more...nothing less...the "pay to play" won't be done in the US. So please..everyone..ease your worries..stop spreading a horrible rumor...and go out and buy the dang game!

I hate to tell you this but Sega of America has come out and confirmed that it will indeed be pay to play, but everyone should by it anyway because it rocks. I have had my copy pre-ordered for a month now.....can't wait to get it. ^_^

Ack! WHat the hell is going on? What is pay to play? Don't you already have to pay for ISP charges to play online? I am so confused! E-mail me at [email protected] or post a reply here! I need to know whats going on but I am STILL BUYING PSO v2!

Basically, pay-to-play is an additional charge on top of ISP charges. The additional charge would probally go to maintaining servers and hopefully giving us some of those cool quests japan got. Japan, as well as everywhere else (except US) had to pay additional charges to play version 1 online. The additional charge should run about 10 dollars every 3 months, which is about what it is in Japan to play version1. Well i hope that cleared it up for u.

um pay to play is a good idea cause i live in the uk and ive been paying 4 it ALL THE TIME
so americans or wotever are havng it cheap
