They were supposed to do that on Dreamcast too, did that happen? NO!!!!!! grrrr

There were, and still are downlaodable quests for the dreamcats version of PSO, when you log in you get the ship select screen, adn at the bottom there is a Downalod option, select this and you get a list of downloadable quests.
It took a few good few months beofre downlaodable quests became available for the Dreamcast versions of PSO, and it will probably be a while before they are available for the gamecube and X-box versions of PSO.
When they are, the downlaods will probably work in much the same way as the dreamcast versions.

And there WERE downloadable quests. I remember that Soul of a blacksmith was downloadable that appeared on the GC version from DC v2.

Do you mean the SOAB was a downloaded quest? If that's what you're saying, you're wrong. The quests that were downloadable on DC now come as standard on GC.

yeah, xbox got 'central dome fire swirl'. we get 'seat of the soul'... strange deal ^-^;
hm... could you get any item from the fire-swirl quest? i dont remember... >.<

Yea I downloaded a quest on DC the other day, so it works, pretty cool. I was suprised cause I hadn't heard of anything like that on GC being available yet.
