Article: Sonic Team JP Server Maintenance on Dec 19th

There will be maintenance (http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/urltrurl?lp=ja_en&url=http%3A%2F%2Ftails04.sonicteam.com%2Fcgi-bin%2Fpso%2Finfo%2Finfo.cgi) done on the JP servers on December 19th from 2pm-3pm JP time. With this maintenance there will be christmas themes added to the lobby as well as a new christmas quest added to the servers. You can check out the news posting about the new quest here.

There is also going to be a christmas gift exchange (http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/urltrurl?lp=ja_en&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sonicteam.com%2Fpsogc%2Fminhi ro%2Findex.html) going on the 20th at 10 pm JP time on the JP servers which uses a christmas present and card that you can get from the quest. Take the card to the receptionist and you will be set up with a room for exchanging presents.

Also to note from our previous story, the JP Ships 11-14 will be back up on the 17th of December prepared for users of the v1.1 PSO. Those ships shut down today until then and hopefully they will be back and ready for v1.1 PSO use.

When will the US ships get this quest and xmas decorations? Or did we get them during that unscheduled maintenance the other night?

just so you know whatley the xmas decorations are up un order to see them you have to go to lobby 9 or 10 though but as for the xmas quest still nada on that :/

Lobby 10 IS a winter-themed lobby, but is by no means a christmas lobby...that we still must wait for. Wouldn't it be ironic if a christian holiday occured for Japan PSO and not for the US PSO ? :p I'm sure we'll get all of the same in a timely manner though.

P.S. Those themed lobbyies have always been there. They just don't show up when there is a dominating theme: i.e. Halloween, Fall-time, Christmas( eventually ), et al.

Right, the christmas theme isn't up yet. It has christmas trees. What you're seeing in lobby 10 is just the winter decoration. And no, no word on when we'll get the nights quest.

I havent played online in like four days..what was the unscheduled maintanance for? Did we get linked to play with the JP servers? Or did they just put up Challenge mode 5/6?

Or did they do anything at all? o_O
