"Microsoft recently sent out word of the latest content download for Phantasy Star Online. Simply sign on to Xbox Live with the game and the following should be available to make your PSO experience that much better.

Quests: Central Dome Fire Swirl, Lost Heat Sword, Gallon's Shop

Challenge Modes (for two to four players): 1, 2, 3 and 4

Battle Modes (for two to four players): 1, 2 and 3

The Gallon's Shop quest now has a Force character in the station that will accept Photon Drops in exchange for special items that are used to create some of the best weapons and armor in the game

Microsoft also stated that PSO fans can look forward to the following downloads over the coming months:
Quests: Lost Ice Spinner, Mop-up Operation 1 and 2, Endless Nightmare 1 and 2

Challenge Modes (for two to four players): 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9

Battle Modes (for two to four players): 4, 5 and 6

New challenge modes are expected to be released on a monthly basis, and the reward for gamers who actually complete all the challenges will be a special item based on a player's chosen weapon type."

A little to late for my liking. When I pay monthly for a game, I expect new content on a regular basis from day one (If you look through the manual, you are indeed, paying from day one - the first 60 days are included with the cost of PSO). Still, for folks who still enjoy the game...its nice news. Question though, where are the Control Tower quests?

lmao, all these quests are available on the freaking Dreamcast, which incidently is over five years old (dont quote me on that, but you get the idea) Anyway, we need new quests, not old stuff.

Yeah, i'll second that. I'm in the uk and the situation on the eu servers is even worse. We haven't even got the freaking online/offline dupe patch yet! This is really starting to get on my tits.

thats why im gonna quit until episode 3 comes out, then ill play that for a few months, then ill be disgrunteled and quit from the fact that were paying them to give us nothing

man they need to hurry up with the lost spinner mop up and endless nightmare quests. those are what im reaaaaaally waiting for now. but hey atleast now there is a use for photon drops in psox iv gottten many items from it and im content with that.

This is not news. Everyone I know is starting to cancel their licenses because MS is dragging their asses in bringing out new content. It's getting boring running around doing the same crap for 3 months. Oh well, their loss.

Whats interesting is people talk crap about something that took time to make it out on other platforms as well. They didnt make the content there from day one on GC even though it was mostly there on DC... I just hope its soon...
