Help with Dark Falz on Hard for a FOnewearl

I have read every guide I could get my grubby little hands on - the problem is every guide says to use ranged weapons when all I really have is spells http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I am trying to beat him offline on Hard. As stated in topic I am FOnewearl, level 53 with 228 HP.

My prob is two fold:

1) Not sure what spells to use (I am currently using Lvl 5 Grants - only does 228/hit http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

2) Almost everytime I try to target Dark Falz, I end up casting Grants on one of those stupid spike things http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Is there a specific head I should be targeting? Should I be using a different spell? I cant even get by his first real form http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

don't always rely on grants, in the beginning, use ranged attacks like gizonde or rafoie. they take up a lot of area and can usually hit your targets. i believe barta-type attacks work well on falz (someon told me that, i think). i'd probably use grants and rafoie on the 3rd form. also, equip something like sigh of a god because it casts techs w/o using tp (duh http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif)

I just beat him on Hard a few hours ago, and even with a 500 HP HUcast it was hard surviving his grants, therefore there is no way a FOnewearl could survive unless you fill all 4 slots with resist/saint, or dragon/HPs. Collect some scape dolls because the last form WILL kill you.

I recomend using Rabarta on the spike things, and Foie on his heads. Try to find a double saber or some TP draining weapon and use it when you run out of TP.

its quite easy. fonewearl have 30% boost on basic techs so you'll have a damage advantage on other forces.

0 - darvants form - best would be to always keep moving. run in large circles around the whole ground, then target them with grants or barta one by one (try a rabarta, if it also kills in one hit, then use that on several darvants).

1 - first form - zonde zonde, rabarta to get rid of the darvants and so on. zonde is way more effective against her, i'd say - especially because grants is very TP-expensive.
zonde merge or club of zumuiran (sp?) if available.
hm... as resistance... i'd say ice resistance is always good because she casts rabarta here and there.

2 - second form - barta on her body - barta merge or mace of adaman or both will really help.
elseway nothing to do than keep on the left side (her right side), because her left arm is her ice (rabartachain) arm, the other one her fire (razondechain) arm. keep track on her, barta her and hope she wont kill you in one hit too often ^^;
have a high ice resistance.

3 - third form - weak against foie - so get yourself a foie merge or at least a club of laconium and fry her. it wont last long and maybe you'll only die 2 times on this form.
have high lightning resistance. but that won't save you from her physical chop, so i'd say, go offensive here, its almost done.

at last:
have several scape dolls - you'll need them.

for slot items...
i dont think dragon HP would help much, but you can try it, bring one and try if it saves a doll. 2 or more would do it i guess.
anyway, have mates with you, they are way quicker than resta and it saves precious TP.

i'd recommend to change the resist-slot items every form. get as far away as possible and be quick in the menu ^_^;;

you could also go all offensive and just try to do as much damage as possible with 4 angel mind ^_^;

well. if you lack that much scape dolls (4 would be really minimum, i'd say) try to level some more or boost your mag until you can kill ruins monsters easily with one hit (as a fonewearl you should mainly rely on the basic techs and boost that with merges and/or v1-rare-clubs). or get yourself several dragon/hp.

I have two force characters who beat Dark Falz on Ultimate at level 40 and 43. The 40 used four scape dolls (3 on the first form). The 43 used zero scape dolls, but almost needed one on the first form. It's almost entirely about strategy and HP units. Consider, if you die while frozen a lot, packing some Resist/Blizzard and swapping them out for the third form. Here's what I did.

Darvants - I was picking them off with foie. Barta would hit multiple. Try to stay around the edge and move between them. You can hit them easily since they are everywhere, so focus on not dying and eventuallly they will give up.

Headly DF - Gizonde. If you can get it targetted on one of the heads, you don't even have to aim. I usually try to get stuck behind her where the darvants can't get me and keep doing this. Grants will be too hard to target. This is probably the hardest form for me as a Force.

Torso DF - Just keep hitting her in the belly with barta. When she goes for the freeze attack, staying close but running to the other side often gets me dodging 50% of these. For the purple rain of doom, the only tactic that has dodged for me has been standing literally right in front of her engorged womb.

Invinci-DF - I basically just constantly shoot foie, dodge the little glowy beams, and heal after every grants/swipe. Once she starts stealing your soul, hit her a few times depending on your HP, heal, hit again. If your soul is stolen, you don't have much more damage to deal before it's over.

The swipe doesn't even do 500 on VHard, and that's the heaviest attack, right?

nope, it does 350 or so. I have a force, and ireally am sorta annoyed at the fact that they cant hold their own verywell agaisnt bosses. The fight between forces and the bosses is always who can last out the longer, with the bosses and their hps, and the forces with their monfulids, di, etc.

2nd form: use gibarta or rabarta... barta deals abit too lil damage to me..
3rd form.. foie foie foie!
as for slot items... use HP units preferrably dragon HPs if you have any.. incase he kills you in 1 hit with grants/pilla
