Article: SEGA PSU Site Online

Sega of America has launched a site for their upcoming Phantasy Star Universe game. There's probably not a lot there that we haven't seen from other sources, but it's there nonetheless. Along with a brief description of the game, some screenshots, a movie, and a little press info, the site also includes a projected release date of Winter 2006 for PSU on both the Playstation 2 and PC. Your coverage is wrong. The site does NOT list 'DECEMBER 2006' as a release date. It lists 'WINTER 2006'. Considering the rumors going around for a February release, I think that it is more likely to be 1Q 2006 winter, than 4Q 2006 winter.

You have a good point there. If the game was released in late winter 2006, that would technically be only 10 days, however the early winter is much longer in a year, giving them a much vaguer release time, which we all know ST loves.

Hmm... this games comes out end of 2006 but is still PS2?

Until that time the PS3 should be out, shouldn't it...?

But well the PS3 is capable of playing PS2 games... right... so if I buy a PS3 I would also be happy...

have no PS2 yet and won't buy one now... the PS3 will come out soon... that one I will probably buy...

I believe so too... reason: otherwise they would have made a PS3 game of it...

winter 2006, wow.. just wow, releasing a game when ps3 is out, and everyone buying ps3 games...

i hope to god winter 2006 isnt real, i cant see it being a hit as it would be if it were released before ps2 at that time

Don't let the thought of being "off topic" disclose information of a game by the same developer and of the same series as the game the site is themed on.
