Article: PSU release date clarification

quo writes, "Due to confusion over the PSU's "Winter 2006" release date, I e-mailed Sega Technical Support asking if "Winter" meant Quarter 1 or Quarter 4.
This was their reply:

More awesome games for 2006? Heh, more like a goodbye to some systems... but... who cares finally it will be out and we will finally see if it lives up to the hype. Or is it just another "good game with lots of potential"

Anyhow, yeah, I don't think it'll be out Q1 either, but according to all that has been said, supposedly late 1st quarter-early 2nd quarter is the launch window.

I believe also that the Revolution will be released somewhere in Q2 btw. that is probably Japanese release... Europe will probably not be before Q3 :)

Great work e-mailing them about it! I always was one of the people with that assumption anyway, but this is good to finally clarify ^^
