On November 16th, the Japanese version of Phantasy Star Universe will be receiving a content update. This update will include new lobby themes for Neudaiz and Guardian Colony, a special event on Moatoob, and several new S-Rank missions. The specially-themed lobbies will remain up until November 30th. Credit goes to Xeno1 for spotting the news and Kyori ("user.php?op=userinfo&uname=kyori" ) for translating it.

This is all fine and dandy but very depressing for US/EU users.

Doesn't anyone have any news for us?

And once again Sega shows how racist they are by making themes for lobbies JP exclusive! >.<

It would be really nice to have some news for us rather than them.

There are still several English-speaking PSO-World visitors that play the JP version of the game. Also, I like to keep North American players up to date on some of the neat things that maybe in the pipeline.

All right, look. Sega (OF JAPAN) is not racist simply because they're on top of their updates IN JAPAN. Sega of America is on an entirely different level (a slower, lower level, unfortunately). While subsidiaries of the SEGA company as a whole, each operates at their own pace. So don't go calling Sega racist simply because this game was written in Japanese, and therefore translating updates and patching them for compatibility with the US version takes longer than just releasing it in its native Japanese format. (I play the US version for PC, and I'm not a hypocritical importer (not saying that any of you fine people reading are hypocritical importers), so I’m in the same boat as most of the rest of you.) To sum it up: If you want to be upset, be upset over slow translation/revision, not "racism." Besides, if anything, it would be nationalism rather than racism.

correct. However, this Bullshit has been done day after day. JP PSO received updates that we didn't get for 6 months. Sega needs to stop being so xenophobic, and release the updates to the JP along with the US version.
