Article: Real Handgun Event Coming to XBox 360

On August 4th and 5th, Sega will be holding a Real Handgun Demo Weekend event (http://www.phantasystaruniverse.com/community_xboxdemo.php) on the XBox 360 servers. If you play the demo during this time period and signup for a Guardians license by August 10th, you will receive a Real Hand Gun (http://www.pso-world.com/items/psu/1/654/real_hand_gun/)! Existing subscribers can participate by downloading the demo and playing it this weekend. Participants can only receive one Real Hand Gun per account.

My questions is (new to the demo rewards) if I am an existing player, and i download the demo, do i need to get ANOTHER gaurdians license to be eligible for the handgun?

Do existing players qualify automatically after playing the demo?

The answer is: yes, existing user need only play alongside the new Demo players to be eligible. I'll see you on the Demo servers.

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with how badly the 360 is doing in Japan.

That, or this is Sonic Team's way of apologizing for all of the downfalls caused by having the game on the PS2 with no HDD support, in the first place.
