After a brief delay this morning, the <a href="http://phantasystaruniverse.jp/event/mag2008/en/">Maximum Attack G event</a> is now available! To access the main event mission, Guardians must talk to Mina on the fifth floor of Guardian Colony. For now, this mission takes place in Forest, Caves, and Mines. The goal is to eliminate all of the enemies and collect badges from boxes. These badges can then be <a href="http://phantasystaruniverse.jp/event/mag2008/en/reward/">traded in a side-mission</a> for <span style="font-style: italic;">Phantasy Star Online</span> themed items. As the global kill counter increases, new areas and prizes related to the event will be unlocked.

Aside from the trade-in items, participants will have the chance to win the following by completing various tasks:
<a href="http://www.pso-world.com/items/psu/1/2885/spread_needle_g/">Spread Needle/G</a> - Place in the Top 500 on the <a href="http://phantasystaruniverse.jp/event/mag2008/en/personal/">Kill Ranking Board</a>.
Gold Metal (Room Decoration) - Be the top-ranking the <a href="http://phantasystaruniverse.jp/event/mag2008/en/timeattack/">Time Attack Ranking Board</a>.
Silver Medal (Room Decoration) - Given to the 2nd through 40th place top Time Attack Ranking players.
Bronze Medal (Room Decoration) - Place in the 41st to 100th bracket on the Time Attack board.
<a href="http://www.pso-world.com/items/psu/1/2720/bouquet/">Bouquet</a> - Given when a team increases the global kill counter past a multiple of 50,000.

Outside of the event, several new items were released at the Casino and in stores. Guardian Colony Stores now offer all of the available PSO Clothing and the <a href="http://www.pso-world.com/items/psu/7/3090/neudaiz_shelving/">Neudaiz Shelving</a> room decoration. New items at the casino include the <a href="http://www.pso-world.com/items/psu/1/2601/robopitch_grenade_c/">Robopitch Grenade/C</a>, <a href="http://www.pso-world.com/items/psu/1/2759/hikec_c/">Hikec/C</a>, Vishic/C (http://www.pso-world.com/items/psu/1/2758/vishic_c/), and Secret Cave (http://www.pso-world.com/items/psu/6/3075/secret_cave/) room theme.
