Article: Xbox 360 Room Glitches

A number of reports have been flowing in from Xbox 360 players concerning various forms of misplaced data which had been preceded by apparent trouble with the Player Room server. Considering the number of reports and the trustworthiness of several of them, it would be advised to take this into account if you plan on continuing to play for the time being. Once more is known about the situation, we'll be sure to update this posting.

Update at 5:15 pm EST: The Xbox 360 servers have been taken offline for emergency maintenance.


Update at 6:20 pm EST: The Xbox 360 servers are back online and player data has been rolled back (http://boards2.sega.com/psu_board/viewtopic.php?t=94272" title="Announcement Thread) to this morning's save state.

SEGA has just taken the xbox 360 servers offline for emergency maintenance at about 2:00p.m.

I doubt that it will be a rollback since they hopped on the issue really fast, plus im not sure that they would do another one only a couple of weeks after the last one.

Wow Sega, get shit right. Everytime after you do maitenance, you end up screwing something up. ALWAYS on the 360 side as well. Get your act together and do your jobs. Maybe we'd be better off without updates. If we rollback and I lose all my wartecher levels, I say fuck PSU. I didn't work that hard to level that dumb class up just to have it taken away from me. Great. Here we go again. I see this is going to be a neverending cycle. I can't prove these claims are false anymore than these players can prove their claims are real. But now we will hear of this type of situation for the remaining life of PSU I'm afraid. If I were in a bad mood all I'd have to do is wait for an update, call a few friends and have them join me in a claim to rollback thousands of other gamers just because, I CAN. I see no way to get around this type of scam based on the way things are going. To those who DO have legit claims before asking me for an apology for my statements here I think its fair YOU apologize to everyone who's losing valuables due to your rollbacks. This time around I won't be losing anything from a rollback except time spent in game. Still its absurd that not long after another content update we get these mysterious "lost items" claims.

If you guys saw or heard rumors of a rollback, and you still played anyways and got good items, do you think that that is SEGA's fault because you are complaining that you lost an item that you would know you that you would not have after a rollback anyways. It is Sega's fault they are the ones who make this game. Should we as paying players "expect" to be rolled back after each update or just not play for a day or two after an update just to be one the safe side? But what can you do other then quit and not pay Sega anymore? They say it is a "small rollback" but it doesn't seem so small when you play the game for hours lvling and getting items actually being excited to play .......just to have this happen again.

seriously everyone needs to stop bitching... you all saw possible issues and yet you continue to play... and now you bitch... well thing about the other players whos accounts got messed up. LIKE MINE. My main character was tied to someone else's room, I could manipulate, take, mess things up for that person. This person had some really good items too in their PM. I felt sorry for who ever had my room cause I don't play often and I don;t have al the rare stuff every else has.
Yeah blame sega all you want but you know what leave them alone, you keep complaining about all this stuff well you know what they can just easily shut down the servers and say they are done and only leave the japan servers open. would that be fair, you wine and bitch and say im going to quit but yet I see alot of you still PLAYING... idle threats. Play FF11, much harder game, more time consuming and you get only 1 character... if you want more you have to pay for more.
This game has been dummed down so much because people kept complaining about things so sega made it easier. if you go back and play the original offline mode you would actually need the photon charges, you wouldn't have a whole lot of money... lvling up your class is a bitch. sega compensates for their actions but no one like to take a look at everything they have given. stop your bitching

I don't understand my everyone doesn't expect things like this to happen. Within the last six months the game has only enough updates with new item to keep everyone waiting for the next week. If they had any regard for the players we would have an substantial amount of new items, missions and events. I am as guilty as anyone to the fact of i shouldn't complain if I don't do anything about it. I have to admit it. IM HOOKED. Guys, think of it tho people could go in your room and take what the hell they wanted from your bot. If they never did anything about it i.e Not rollback LOADS of people would of lost ALOT of stuff, it's happened to my friend and me, it's other people too, ALOT of people, switched rooms, someone came in MY room and took ALL my hard work money out of my bot, IT WAS happening to alot of people that too, losing items, other people's stuff in your storage or shop. It would be messed up if they didnt, GO ahead and troll me, but I dont care, they actually did something GOOD quickly. Complain no updates, they put out updates fast and early, there are problems with the updates...duh...so we complain about the rollback to fix the problems, sooo then they stop updating. Dont complain, enjoy the game, it is what it is. I say thanks for the updates finally, and thanks for the rapid fix to the problems. Please keep it up and continue to ignore the cronic complainers who are only happy if they have something to complain about.

I have 2 agree with Erkthemerc on this one the more we complain the more it seems things go wrong! as it is with all the complaining that has happened thus far Sega has made it hell easy online now! used 2 take forever to level up classes and pa's as well as ones level! but people complained about a challenge now it's to easy.I get to board to fast as I am sure others do to, further more if you guys are pissed about roll backs then stop sending in false ticks to Sege saying that you have problems. And this wouldn't force Sega to have to do a roll back, rather individually deal with the few people who actually have corrupted data! It's funny how each time We get an update now over have of the Psu population has corrupted data and a roll back follows. Verry fishy if you ask mm. So yea the people who like complaining and think its funny to mess everyone else is ruining Psu fore everyone. And I am sure Sega is getting tired of the constant complaints, I know I would if I were in Sega shoes. So take the game for what it is and Sega will in time turn it around for the better if they can focus on content updates rather then peoples complaints! Keep it up Sega!

I so agree with ngagerebe , its way to easy in the online mode now and I am getting board with psu fast. used to takes weeks to get hunter to the next level and days to level up. Also pa's took a month or so to level to a decent level and gave you something to work for! seriously you play games like PI, Shaiya, or even wow ten times harder than PSU in it's current state and a hell of a lot more fun. You have to work to get places in them games and makes you want 2 come back. I don't understand why everyone hated the old psu which was challenging? And lets face it fresh compared to the easiness of the game now.
