Article: Content update for December 26

A small update has been announced (http://boards2.sega.com/psu_board/viewtopic.php?t=94576) for this week which will prepare the lobbies for their annual change for the new year as well as implement the compensation for the recent rollbacks. For those who may not know, here are the rewards we can expect to see when the servers come back up from maintenance this Friday.

Megaholy Photon Fortune for all races
10% boost to weapon grinding success rates
10% boost to weapon and line shield synthesis success rates
50% discount on clothes and parts
Free makeovers at Lumilass
All of these bonuses will be in place until the servers go down for maintenance on January 15, 2009. Please feel free to discuss this update at the forum (http://www.pso-world.com/forums/index.php).

Update: The Japanese 360 site's post-maintenance notes (http://xbox360.phantasystaruniverse.jp/news/wis/?mode=view&id=244) have revealed a few bits of information that have not been released yet by SEGA of America. First, a bug was fixed in which enemies in block 3 of "Scarred Planet" would get stuck behind walls and piles of rubble, making it impossible for them to move. Second, the Parum GBR has been extended by an extra week. Now the event is scheduled to conclude when the servers go down for maintenance on January 15, 2009. Thanks to S-T-H for the tip!

Sweet, glad we're having another grinding bonus. I ran out of s-grinders last time, so hopefully I'll have enough to grind the rest of my weapons. :D

I know 10% grind is very nice... but for someone like me who has some pretty rotten luck... I'd love to see it nudged alittle higher. But this is a much appriciated update.

THis is nice i would of rather of gotten the Lightning Carnival becasue like AkumuSky my luck with grinding and making high S grinders is really crappy, but the mega holy will make hunting for another resist easier so i guess i will be happy with that :)

Some might like the GBR extension, other don't. But, I'm OK with it since I don't get to play as much as I wanted. ;]

Just wondering if the extension is for the PC/PS2 server as well. the post had it under a 360 update so was wondering if it is just for the 360 or all servers?
