Article: Shred the Darkness Awards Updated

The global kill count for Shred the Darkness (http://phantasystaruniverse.jp/event/dark2009/en/) went over the 65 million mark earlier today. This unlocked the "two weeks of 10 silver casino coins" per day bonus. In addition, the 80 million kill panel has been unveiled - a 2x Photon Arts exp boost for two weeks! With almost three weeks left in the event, players should be able to reach this highly desirable goal.

To recap, the following rewards have been unlocked so far:


Two weeks of Megaholy Luck

SONIC Disc

Clothing/Cast Parts are half price for two weeks

Free Makeovers for two weeks

Guardian Colony room decoration

20% Synthesis Success Rate Boost for two weeks

15% Success Rate Increase for Grinding for two weeks

I run at least an hours worth of C+ runs everyday as well as my regular time on my main doing S2 runs. I really hope we show Japan what a smaller population is capable of! Couldn't do it without the 360, and thanks to all! Have a great PSU!!

Great good work, just makes me mad that there giving us 2 weeks of pa boost as now everyone will have max pa's. there are not enough new pas as it is so this will only make it boring in the end for older players who been around since the beginning and have high level pa's already. In my opinion ST could have done better for a 8o million kill milestone!

you are right i was thinking the same thing as iv been playing for over 3 years it can and will get boring and the pa boost prob wont help the old players i gess make a new person n lev em up lol but if sega keeps up the good work and keeps bring out new stuff rather then makeing us wait forever we may be ok ..............i hope

i have been playing this game since december 14, 2007. i would have played it sooner but had to find a network adpater for the orginal ps2 which i play on. i love the 80 million kill milestone becuase i have 4 characters and have 4x the pa to level to their maxium lv cap. my characters are human male lv44, beast female lv100, cast female lv150, newman male lv between 100 and 110. need to up date the signature cause i leveled over the weakend several times. i am trying to get all my character types to maxium lv and have all characters have every photon arts maxed out at the level caps. so this milestone is a very helpfull one for me plus i would not say i am a beginger but at the same time i am not verteran. also i played this game off line before i started playing online because as i mention i did not have the network adapter. my friend found it for me at a local pawn shop. and i pay my friend for it of course. also my friends main character name is lainofthewired. which is a human female. this is my first online game ever so it has been realy fun and a learning experience for me to learn all the short hand chat such as lol np exc. anyhow during mag me and my friend ended playing 24/7 with almost no sleep, we ended up going through alot of coffee that was my first big event. my friend is currently in the proccess of moving so lainofthewired is not playing online at the current time. well this has been just my though of the 80 million milestone. by the way all characters are named nivrash

Yea I love this game have played so much that at times now I get bored. I have 4 characters 3 of which have most pa's out just need a few spells for my tecker. Not much left to do except hope that you are right and Sega keeps updating us lol. In my opinion there is not much to do once you level your pas up would be nice if weapon pas got a 4th form much like spells do but that is wishful thinking probably never going to happen.

they said in the new expansion aoti+ that there would be new forms for pas but only if ya are playing on pc due to avaible upgrades or downloads which ever ya want to call them however it seems allthough ps2 will get the new weapons they will use existing forms just have different stats and different names. so if ya play on pc when that update comes out ya should see new forms for the pas my on the other hand i will not see them because i play on ps2. i am hopping to create a second account for my gaming pc rige when i build it.

the 360 will all so see the new pa forms and ps2 as well allthou i dont no how meny outside of japan will be playing on the ps2 by the time the update hits the usa i my self play on the 360 the 360 ver is much like the pc ver its easy to update/add stuff for downlow ps2 on the other hand u cant add downlows for......... but after this evant i gess we will see what will happ i say scrap mag+ just give us the stuff a other way n get on with the fat update that japan got thats just me thou as it seems more ppl play on the 360 then anything

i on the other hand look forward to mag+ because i did not get all the music disc particaly the ones in the lottery that i was not aware of at the time. so in my opion the first mag was good and i look forward to the second mag, however this is just my opion.

you say its gnna be the best there is. how long have you been playing mag was trashy. at most ppl got sick of it very fast and it just takes you around old pso levs just to fight a big fat reskin oooooooo mag plus will be the same with a bit more to add id rather re do 1up or fire but thats me

I've been playing since around firebreak. I honestly thought MAG was better then 1up or any of the other events.

i didn't get the chance to particapt in the 1up event i would have liked to and possibly even the firebreak. but i started playing on december 14, 2009 thouse my message board account is [email protected] also all my characters are named nirvash so i created an e-mail account for all online gaming since this was my firts online game i used just the name in the characters for all future games they will be nirvash and the dates i started those characters. from what i heard it sounds as if i missied out big time with the 1up event took me awhile to get a network addapter for my orginal ps2.

The main reason firebreak was so much fun is because at the time things where simple and fun, 1up is where alot of people aqcuired wealth and it was also a interesting event. I would have to give it to firebreak though just because i enjoyed it the most.
