In three weeks (http://kotaku.com/5319589/microsoft-dates-next-xbox-360-dashboard-update?skyline=true&s=x), Microsoft will be releasing its next major dashboard update. Included are many recently announced features and general improvements. You can find an overview of what is and isn't in it here (http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/16/xbox-live-update-detailed-games-on-demand-netflix-queue-movie/). Much of the downtime regarding this update should have already passed, but any further amount will be reported on as it is announced. For a chance at an early update, you can take a survey (http://majornelson.com/archive/2009/07/20/xbox-360-system-update-preview-program.aspx) from Microsoft to be included in a pool of users that they are going to draw from for their preview program.
