Players interested in the next major time attack tournament can find details in a new section (http://www.phantasystaruniverse.com/community_quests.php?item=GGCIIa) of the official PSU homepage. Described on the page are the list of rules as well as the in-game prizes which will be given away. While an official start date has not been set, it is planned to begin in January and continue through February.

The GMs are currently taking team entries on the official forums (http://forums.sega.com/forumdisplay.php?f=273). Discussion about the event can also be found here on the PSOW forums (http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?t=171314).

Update: A new page has been posted on the official site detailing some additions to the prizes for the event. Players shooting for first and second place are now looking at the possibility of obtaining real-life PSU swag (http://www.phantasystaruniverse.com/community_quests.php?item=GGCIIa). Also, please note a small change (http://forums.sega.com/showpost.php?p=5421392&postcount=366) to the rules.

Given the prizes in this tournament and the fact it is a cross-platform tournament and few take TAing seriously....I would prefer to simply move on to some of the other winter tournaments for online games that currently exist out there. Sega seems to be the only company that creates tournaments announcing poor in-game prizes to the winner. I say poor not to be mean, but to state that the prizes do not reflect the amount of work, skill or dedication required to TA....as such prizes themselves will not allow any help to a TAer.

</br>
The rules have been changed multiple times...While they look better as before, I doubt 32 teams will sign up for the tournament. I don't believe that 128 TAers exist who play actively, and some players in teams did not know what a TA was until I taught them and they were truly surprised...because the tops teams are encouraging other teams to join in the GGC II on the PC/PS2 side of things. These teams entering don't know much about TA and are new and the reason they are being put up to it....is so a tournament can exist so top teams can claim prizes for themselves.
