Article: Ambition of the Illuminus Update for January 8th

The official English webpage (http://www.phantasystaruniverse.com/community_quests.php?item=20100108a) was updated today with details for the content update scheduled for January 8th. Here is a breakdown of the new content:

The Dark God S2 - Players will be able to fight against the second form of Dark Falz in this mission. According to the webpage, Xbox 360 players will receive the final game achievement for completing this mission.

Temple of Traps - This is a new Co-Op mission that will be available through the Neudaiz Guardian Branch.

Winter Lobbies - The Winter Lobby will be available on Parum and the Guardian Colony for an unspecified period of time. Players will be able to buy the Snowman (http://www.pso-world.com/items/psu/7/887/snowman/) room decoration while the lobby is available.

Update: The Japanese 360 homepage (http://xbox360.phantasystaruniverse.jp/news/wis/?mode=view&id=354) has been updated as well. The winter lobbies as well as the Snowman room decoration will be available through January 28th.

this may not be what everyone was waiting for but im getting fed up with all the moaning from people saying this is not any good thats not any good at the end of the day the game is a great game but unfortuately you have to do runs to get stuff not just sit in lobbbies waiting for people to give you money, every one wake up and just get on with the game and get rid of all the sniffling kids and this game would be even better. if you dont like the game sell it and move on!!!!!!!

This update will bring back alot of players on the 360 side but SEGA will have to bring the supplemental update soon if they plan to keep them. MAG+ will not keep the player numbers up because its just an old event with only a handful of new items and no real content additions. Just like with the last MAG, players were burnt out quickly and the numbers dropped quickly. Im not saying we shouldn't have MAG+ its just with the current state of the community it would be best if the supplemental update came first.

i agree with zandra supplemental updates will include new items and hopefully new master classes ‹3.. MAG+ will just hold us back more

Update or Unlock?
Im not sure which is which anymore. Im not going negative. Its not the games fault most of the content we paid for is locked. And unlocking it is considered an update. Maybe some of these new missions are actual new content. Im just not sure what to call it anymore?
I do love this game. Keep it all coming. This unlock thing just occured to me. I though I would mention it.

Seeing as the Supp. Update has not been confirmed for EU/NA servers I am not holding my breath. On another note I think this update will bring a bunch of people back but they will leave just as fast as they came...the truth may hurt but I am being realistic
