I have done a search, and can't seem to find anything on it, so i'm posting here.

Where/How do I submit artwork?

If i just post it up here, thats fine, but i dont have any permanent webhosting so it'll only be temporary.

If, on the other hand, I have to send it somwhere, your help would be greatly appriciated.

Requests available, especially to the first/most helpful person.

Simply post your picture by linking from where the picture is. Use the nifty IMG tags to do it:



[ i m g ] http://www.something.com/folder/picture.jpg [/ i m g ]


Now I had to put spaces in there to keep the code from actually working but you get the idea.

Take note that many webhosts don't like you linking this way. If the picture doesn't show up and you know the address is right, use URL tags instead and ask users to open a new window and paste in the address. That's what you'll have to do if linking from Angelfire, Geocities, Prohosting etc.

Theres a trick to let hosts like geocities let your pictures show up. Rename the jpg/gif/other to (filename).txt using the site's file maneger option. It'll work then.

thats not the problem, i can do that, i just cant seem to find somwhere that gives me indefinate, free image hosting, obviously because noone should have to, but hey.

that said, you have answered my question, and are there for forfeit to my devious use of pen and pencil.

Yea, you can email me the pic, and I'll host it. Once it's hosted, you can show it off in Fan Works. If the pic is of good quality, it'll be added to the Fan Art gallery, maybe even featured on the front page.
