Actually, if you know how to play and play well you can easily get to level 40 in less then 2 days. I did it when I started my new FOnewearl.

Just make sure when you play online you hit EVERY enemy at least once so you will get the experiance from the kill. I usually used Gizonde or Razonde because I am a FO and it will hit everything for some damage.

If you are a RANGER then you need to find a shot type weapon that will hit multiple ememies or just cast the techs unless you are a cast...in which case, you will need to use a weapon. Hunters can find weapons that hit multiple enemies.

Also, when your FO gets higher just cast Jellen, Zulare on everything. Your team mates will REALLY appreciate it. J/Z at higher levels can decrease the enemy's ATP and DEF by as much as about 47% and you hit multiple targets.

Too often I see J/Z not used. It is almost necessary to use when you get to ULT becuase everything in there is so resistant to attacks and techniques.

I think I made it to level 80 with in the week. It is not hard to do as long as you find good team mates to play with and know what you are doing. It takes some practice.

I currently have about 180 hours logged with my FOnewearl and she is a level 119. I still need to unlock ULT seabed and ULT ruins...I might try those tonight if I am not too busy playing online.

haha...I forgot to mention that I am using the GameCube version. But, they both are the same game and leveling is done exactly the same way on the XBox. Try this and see if this helps out some.
