PSO2 on PS Vita TV

Did they ever give a proper/technical reason for why they couldn't make PSO2 work on PS Vita TV?
I got a new TV today, so I was finally able to use HENkaku to play PSO2 on the PS Vita TV that arrived last Friday.
It runs great. It doesn't look that bad. The L3 "Touch Controls" are not as bad as you'd think. There was no reason for them not to make it PS Vita TV compatible, really.

Because the only reason is a soft lock that Sony put in, for reasons that only sony knows, but most likely $$$

And since they aren't supporting the Vita TV officially...

The PS TV has already been hacked to remove the soft lock from all games anyway and now that the vita/ps tv has been hacked to be able to play downloaded isos nothing is really holding you back from playing anything on the ps tv. Just another addition to the long line of bad decisions by sega and sony.
