Regarding NP1002 and Dropping Support for Older Windows

So first of all, I'm not having this problem, I just always wondering if this is true. I joined Aida's discrod group/channel a while ago, they've made a bot for like displaying description of an error in the game. And for error code NP1002 it stated that Sega has dropped support for Windows XP, Vista, early version of Windows 7 and Windows 8.0 . Is this true? I don't remember Sega state this statement.

They officially dropped support of XP at the same time Microsoft did back in 2014 (https://bumped.org/psublog/pso2-jp-maintenance-and-patch-252014/); Vista has technically not been fully supported by Microsoft since 2012, so it is possible the SEGA never officially supported it with PSO2. As to the others, those are likely just due to the fact that GG has an error that is basically "Update your Windows to the latest build," which means the latest version of Windows 7 Service Pack 2, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10.

They officially declare to drop support for Windows XP, though the game work just fine sometime after they stopped supporting it.
Don't know about 7, 8, and Vista though.
