The manga will feature Matoi back as Claris Claes II and the original Melfonsina as protagonists based on the info given.

The artist's Twitter account contains some extra preview pics featuring sketch work of Luther and Double.

Inb4 the real Melfonshina is still alive all this time in Double's Universe, having Clarissa's protection all this time and just waiting to get freed. Elder/Gettemhart not dead but somehow escaped along with Melfonshina unnoticed by Double before he completely got devoured.

In fact because the anime is so unimportant to the plot of episode 4 is why I said that's how I would want it to be. Basically I want it to be related, but not so important that you HAVE to read it to know what's going on later.

Matoi is Claris Claes II, the newman is the original Melphonsia.

The Melphonsia we see in game is just her younger sister, who takes her name when she dies prior to the start of Episode 1.

Matoi as Claris Claes II has always been my favourite version of Matoi in both appearance and personality. I'm well aware that the CCII outfit is a slightly altered version of PSO's Red Ringo's outfit but I always thought it looked better on Matoi due to how plain looking Red Ringo is while Matoi's more "magical" looking hair fits the outfit better.

Judging by Luther and Double appearing in the concept art of the mangaka's Twitter, I'm guessing Apprentice's attack on an ARKS ship will be covered since those two played a huge part in that event (Luther opening the way for Apprentice to wreck havoc and Double having killed the OG Melfonsina during the attack).

I own most of the character song CDs and a couple other CDs. I have a Quna Idol and Quna Assassin PvC. This Manga has my interest because it could be worth a read for story reasons. I just can't read Japanese...and I'm going to assume it will only be in Japanese. I've been having a really off day and maybe I missed something that says otherwise, but I'd buy it if I could read it.

I guess I'll get it second hand on amazon.jp since people are going to mass buy it for whatever code it gives. Kind of annoyed the story is expanded on paper, at least they did that moving comic thing with PSU, but they can't charge money for viewing a website, so...

I just checked the mangaka's (Kiyu Kibako) Twitter and from what I can tell, the first chapter will be released on the 25th of February (this month).

Guess I'll hit up the Little Tokyo Kinokuniya this Saturday and inquire if they carry Shounen Ace. I typically buy my Famitsu copies there when I'm bothered enough to buy them ($10 per issue makes my wallet sad), so it's not too far of a stretch.

And if I'm bothered enough to get off my ass, I might rip out the pages and scan them.
