Hey i was just wondering does anyone know who DB is ?

No one knows for sure, but many people think it's Donoph Biaz, the guy from the Retired Hunter quest.

i thought DB might have been a HUcast beacause when u look at the default HUcasts head you see a formation of 3 dots and when you look at db shield it has the same dot formation.

while we're on this subject...who is Akiko? (I woulda also asked Yamato, but I already know a Yamato was a ruler over a certain area of land in ancient Japan...Yamato is a rank, not a name)

DB is actually mistranslated, the letters are backwards, it should be BD. These intials stand for Bob Dole. Thats right, Bob Dole's Saber!

Motav is another name for Moto, or Motovia, one of the planets in the original Phantasy Star games. I'm not too sure about Marina, but I'm wondering if this is supposed to be Amy's bag from Phantasy Star II.

It was worth a shot. DB is probably just a set of initials for some Hunter from Pioneer 1 who died while trying to protect them. I don't think anyone has ever really found out what those initials actually mean.

Thats what Ive always believed too.
Although I liked the "del buster" remark. My vote goes to it standing for Donoph B.
