Like a decade ago I was thrilled about this stuff when companies did this for custom characters, but that was when 3D printing stuff and whatever was primitive.

Unless their ToS changed, I think technically us playing is still a bannable offense. They just don't bother enforcing it since it's a waste of time and money as long as we're not destroying the game, which the chinese have a history of doing just that via the economy in online games, which is likely why SEGA likely had a tighter reign on SEA.

Not sure if they'll suddenly care at all, or probably will just limit their investigation of reported players to what's in chat log (which would be a little silly considering that wouldn't help the people that wanted this feature the most: the people tired of seeing AFKers in their EQs/BQs).

Anyway, it's a waste of time, and loss of money to go after us for being filthy gaijin, but it remains to be seen as to how will they will respond to this new 'feature'.

Yamigarasu hidden potential ( photon booster ) 26% dmg for guren and sakura, if they save it it's enough xD
btw still have yami with this potential and ultimate buster affix, it was top katana for ultimate quests.

Kinda hard to not do another castle monster when their all called "Devil Castle".

The real disappointment for me is that the new Buster Quest map doesn't seem to have anything substantially different from the first Buster Quest map and is visually even more dull looking. Not helped by the fact that the fire-breathing salamander monster in the trailer is literally a reskin of the Facility map's Rheo Madullard, an EP3 boss.

I'm not quite sure why underground monkey Omega counterparts to already existing enemies is surprising at this point. Cuent already had Foie/Barta/Megid Sorcerers and Rock Golem (although Rock Golem is more of a semi-reskin).

Battle Arena update means Sword is getting swapped out for Partizan. I dunno about losing my one-hit kill Rising Edge, but at the same time it deals with Jet Boots just as effectively (seriously though, Boots can go die in a fire).

I'm a fan of TMGs replacing Rifle, though. Rifle felt too much like a support weapon, despite its potency.

They're buffing Strike Gust. Like they actually needed to buff Strike Gust.

Bow buff is fine. They're a tad bit unwieldy as is and are pretty much only good for taking down Gran Wave spammers and shotgunning people around corners.

Cure buff is excellent. Maybe people will actually take Cure more now.

I'm a fan of Sprint buff. Perhaps it might be worth taking.

It has its enjoyable moments. It has a few balance issues (Boots are literally god, Rising Edge one-hit kill FTW, Bow is kinda trashy unless you're facemelting people at point blank or just laying down suppressing fire) and lags somewhat if you're not playing in Japan, but it overall handles fine, and I like it. You obviously won't like it if you don't like any PVP, though.

When I get that combo, I just call it Rambo Mode and start enforcing "spray 'n pray" tactics. Shame that's getting removed.

Strike Gust is pretty much as strong as Rising Edge and stuns if it doesn't kill, which is a setup for a guaranteed kill. Gran Wave turns you into an annoying as shit mosquito with an abusive amount of i-frames and can potentially TPK the enemy Union if armed with PP Unlimited. The catch is that they get harder to play as the timer ticks down, since once Lv. 2 hits, almost anything can one-shot Boots, but sufficiently skilled Gran Wave users don't see that as an obstacle.

If you're talking about Boots actually being useful, then yeah, Battle Arena is a little backwards when it comes to meta.

I did not see the stream, but many of the pictures on Bumped show him doing things that players can do, like Amdu UQ, fighting Deus, dashing in Tokyo, participating in the first Buster Quest Attack phase, etc. Maybe you both fight it (in the story or otherwise) and have some means of using it?

SEGA likes to play with the not-so-evil-evils theme once in a while. Dewmans were SEED-corrupted humans in PSPo2i, and in this game we've got a couple Falzs that even though antagonizing us, they've shown moments of goodness, like Elder protecting Melrondia from Double, as well as Persona kinda being evil but doing so to protect Matoi. And Aru is supposed to be some sort of Photon/Ether-infused Dark Falz that somehow was born without corruption.

We're getting story content that involves Melphonshina and Gettemhart. Maybe there's some connection to this?

The "red" one, as you call him, is Elder's Falz Hunar form, except with alterations ressembling that of Aberrations (UQ Darkers). I'm saying you fight that guy and that he's likely not playable.

Not really a spoiler if you've started EP5 and you paid attention to the conversation with Xiao, but the title of the update is called "Immense Power Entrusted". Flamboyant personality is roughly taken down a notch, and different voice actors (Stratos is voiced by Ayane Sakura, while Megumin is voiced by Rie Takahashi). The only thing they share is the same enthusiasm, and I guess very similar voices.

Megumin is the one who refuses to learn any other magic than Explosion, even though she shows more than enough capability to learn the full array of magic that exists in that world. Stratos isn't like that at all, she's really booksmart, and very gung-ho, but not experienced at all. Big fish in a little pond, really.

It's more involved for this. It's going to be limited spots for application and they are most likely going to have to lottery the winners. This usually means a valid Japanese residential address. Yes. New Advance class lets you map techs directly onto wands/rods instead of weapon palette. Mix and match techs like zondeel + gi-techs, shifta + deband for proper double buffs, Double ragrants, foie, type 0 zonde. Would be a neat class to play as.

Most 2ch players don't seem to mind unless one starts speaking English in lobby, spams annoying autoword SAs in EQs, is horribly undergeared/leeching, etc..

The only concern I have is with the real net-uyoku types that really hate foreign players just for being present. If you have a Character and PlayerID name that is in kana or kanji, you're pretty much safe as long as you keep a low profile, learn or know some basic Japanese and set quest names to your character's name. If not, then it's 4500 AC to change both, or 1500 to change character name.

Pretty much. Sounds like paranoia right now because the Japanese players are mostly tolerant of foreigners, but there are more than enough of these guys on each ship to make people's lives miserable if there aren't anti-abuse measures in place.

It will also depend on whether the system is semi-automated, fully automated or not automated. Something like 5~10 reports = tempban could definitely be abused by such people.

If you're using the weapon, there's no reason not to. It boosts your damage regardless.

Oh, yeah definitely. I've already seen some of the fans of the game preparing to make plenty of Kamen Rider references once Dark Blast mode is out and who could blame them? Transformations are a beloved trope in anime that never gets old and if the transformation mode looks good, then its all the more fun.

I really do hope Dark Blast mode can swap colors according to what your characters wears like AISs just for the sake of not having a full MPA of overly-identical looking Dark Blasts in BQs.
