Am I being deluded when I heard that Ill Gill drops its body part to create a new weapon?

The person I heard it from can confirm they got it in Ultimate mode. That's too hard for me. I'm going to find out if I can get it in Very Hard.

Most likely it would be a scythe type weapon.

Which makes sense, but didn't someone say that Ill Gills carry a Soul Banish? I wouldn't really know as I've only seen the Banish once or twice. I would imagine that an Ill Gill arm doesn't turn into a Soul Banish.

*edit* Nevermind, I looked at the pics of the Soul Banish and the Ill Gills scythe is definitely not a Soul Banish.

It looks like a Soul Banish from 10 feet away from your TV. The Special is Megid, the iIl gill swung and he killed me with Megid. That's all, I just used context clues. Inferrence, etc.

It looked more like a Partisan-type weapon to me that an actual scythe.

Well, at least Oran is confirmed now...

Still though, considering that the special can change on the scythe when the Il Gill uses it, maybe it randomly freezes, shocks, or megids?

I'm going to take my character through some Vhard runs to see what shows up. I just got that leaf thingy from the Mericol (sp?) on my first run, and I am Skyly.

*wonders about Gi Gues and Jswords on ult...

rx8, look at the new guide lolita made for seat of the heart, she put in which computers will get you ill gills if you shoot at it. check out the maps she made.

Ill Gills are mean. I was blasting those computers in the tower and then WHAM! one came out of nowhere and cut Elly into salami. My quest was over... I WAS SO CAREFUL BUT NOOOO, THE THING IMMIDEATLEY ATTACKS AS I BUST THE COMPUTER TERMINAL! Also, i really think if the gill weapon can be found, it will be duped into large amounts and no longer be rare. Thats how it is with the BKB, everybody has them max grinded. I have not seen one HU, cept for myself, without one.
