Hello, i made a video to help describe my issue:
https://youtu.be/J0onn-tYjhg

tl;dr: Left stick moves both char + camera, moving forward moves the cmera forward, moving backwards makes the camera take an topdown angle and so on.

Right stick does nothing.

I've tried several controllers so far, all have the same issue, currently using a switch pro controller, playing through steam with the controller wired.

That issue only affects PSO2.

I cannot seem to get paste this screen on the controller config menu, is there anything i should do to get to the next step? https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/440578335291080707/450410123739791360/unknown.png

Thanks in advance for your help.

Try to recalibrate your analog from in-game option menu. When using english patch, which analog you should move is not translated (will leave certain portion of the text to be japanese).
[1] hold your LEFT analog to up and press button to proceed
[2] hold your LEFT analog to left and press button to proceed

[3] hold your RIGHT analog to up and press button to proceed
[4] hold your RIGHT analog to left and press button to proceed

When doing 3rd & 4th step, make sure that you use RIGHT analog, if you did it with left one their function will be messed up, resulting in what you experiencing right now. During button binding, press "back to previous" to close the menu, it'll finalize your changes so don't worry too much about it.

In case problem still persist, try to select "reset to default" under basic gamepad config submenu under options.

HO, that MIGHT be related as I did all 4 steps with the left stick, I left my computer on to perform a clean install, will retry again after work if the install doesn't fix the issue, thanks.
