Is there are shortage of BBAs in the UK coz Amazon.co.uk keeps putting back my delievery date. Any news would be helpful and if when this "crisis" will be resolved as well.

I can't say for sure since I don't live in the UK but I can say that I live in Ireland and the only place where I have been able to find Modems for the Gamecube is in HMV on Grafton Street and that these are just the plain ( 56k I think ) modems as opposed to the Broad Band Modems, so going on our combined info I would say that they are relatively hard to find.

well apparently its world wide case you can't really find them here in America either...I am going to have to order it directly from Nintendo...now if they can't furnish it then we have a delima

both bba and modem are pretty common here in germany...
mainly because its still first delivery i guess ^_^;

and i've seen a shop who wants 70 euro for one (even the official 50 euro were too much).

Only reason I'd get a Xbox is for Shenmue, if theyre gonna continue that series! SHENMUE ROX!

i'd wait some months... regarding recent price drops, you'll get an xbox from a package of cerials soon.

I think you are gonna have to wait a bit longer mate. I'm getting my broadband tomorrow and I want to get a broadband modem soon as well so that I can use the free 1 month Hunter's License. I was hoping that sometime after summer, it will be cheaper but now that seems impossible since it's rare in the UK. I know that there are plenty of 56K modems around but the broadband modems have virtually disappeared from sites such as GAME and Gameplay. The only place I know where you might have a good chance of getting one is from ebay although they will probably cost like £65 since they are so rare. Anyways, good luck mate.
