OTP and Google Authenticator: How do I transfer between devices?

I'd like to give someone or sell them my tablet but I need to move Google Authenticator to another device or I'll never be able to log onto my PSO2 account again! :-o:-o:(

Is there a guide that can walk me through this process specifically? I've seen guides... sort of. It seemed like transferring devices was sort of an afterthought in the guide and wasn't covered well enough. Can someone point me to a good one?

You can't do that with Google Authenticator unless you're rooted.
You're better off following the steps to remove Google Authenticator and replacing it with Authy or Last Pass Authenticator as both perform cloud backups and allow multiple devices under a single account.
