Is It Possible To Hide/Disable Gathering Spots?

Just a simple question, only asking because google did not give me any answers. I've been playing the game for a few days now and I was plenty happy with everything. Now after walking into the cafe everytime I go into free-field I find it littered with these spots. I know, I know, I'm being very nitpicky here, I get it. But is there anyway to disable these or do I put up with them?

As the game is, no.

However, there is a client-side mod that can make them invisible, but I can't quite remember where to find it.

can't find the setting for this, you only able to hide the Gathering stat while you access menu iirc
