Haven't used Discord since last year and it wants my phone number, so that's a big NO to that!

It was a pretty stupid decision to put them on solely Discord instead of the Arks-Layer website.

You know you can install the manual English patch from the Tweaker application, right? Launch it, update it if needed, click "Plugin Settings," then check the box for "Manual Patch." It doesn't look like it's doing anything but it is. When you can, click Save, then Start PSO2 and you're good to go.

No kidding, especially since Discord is intrusiveness to your personal data is only 2nd to Google.

It doesn't look like it's doing anything but it is. When you can, click Save, then Start PSO2 and you're good to go.

Except for the part where I got the English patch through that very method. Yesterday.

I mean unless you want to say that I and other people just had a mass hallucination...

It was added back in one of the latest Tweaker updates as a stop gap until the other style of translation is back up and running:

That? I hit that thing by accident twice already and everything is still in Japanese.

Did you hit the checkbox, and did the text "Downloading an update to the Manual Patch, this may lock up the Tweaker momentarily..." come up, or did nothing happen at all?

If you hit it twice, you turned it on, then turned it back off again.

It did the download, but the box never check. Looks like I had to go back and manually check it after the download for it to work. Strange, but it works, so I won't complain about it, cheers.

EDIT: Looks like the items are still in Japanese however.

Items were plugin based, so that's gone.
