and a release date.

I'm still expecting at least one more beta, (probably an open beta) before they give us a full release date, though I guess an open beta would still basically be a release.

It also depends if they find more graphical bugs or bugs in general which could set things back even longer.

Well, that was fucking nothing.

But it's hilarious how the dude presented his character that was simultaneously aesthetically ugly and generic and went all "isn't she cute?", then the idol showed her character that was actually looking good.

More weapon categories Partisan, Wired Lance, Launcher,Twin Dagger, Double Saber, and Talis. These weapon types will be available upon the game's official release.

Talis looks the most dramatically different, which makes sense, because it's always kinda been an awkward weapon to use, though I don't really understand anything it was doing.

Partisan new attack animations look cool and daggers are much faster. But DS is still awkward

It seems to have 2 modes. From what I could understand:
- When the talises are surrounding the char, it changes the behaviour of techs.
- And the other mode is similar to the current PSO2 talises, but with some additional features, like it being able to throw homing bits similar to Phantom's rifle shift Verbrechen and it being possible to recall the thrown talis.

EDIT: This is what bumped says about talises, so I'm likely wrong with some of what I said above:

Talises can unleash Technics like usual, but now you can have the Talis surround your character, releasing attacks all around you.
Talises work differently depending on the PA, so it's best to choose the right PA for the situation.
After learning the skill "Talis Bloom Revoke," holding down the weapon action will allow the Talis to be retrieved quickly.
You can also place a Talis, without using a PA, by using the weapon action button.

So, assuming that Halpha isn't just Naberius, Formers are the story payoff for those terrible Code: Captures, right? Like, all those live enemy specimens we captured got loose and integrated into Halpha's native ecosystem?

Anyway, I am really looking forward to playing with the new Talis; standard Talis was one of my least favorite weapons despite liking their concept, so the changes to it excite me.

Photoners, the answer is always Photoners. But really, they likely messed around with Naberius in the past and probably both introduced and taken elsewhere plenty of life forms from the planet for various experiments. The creation of Rappies vs Nab Rappies is a possible example of this.
