[spoiler-box]Q: How does a Wand Parry work?
A: Time your WA press when an attack comes your way to release a counter/shockwave damage.

Q: How often will I use Talis with this class?
A: Not very much unless you want to, you're going to primarily be Wand smacking everything in sight along with support outputs.

Q: How do I know which element is on the Wand?
A: A elemental orb will appear on the top end of your Wand, you can change it to another element by using a different elemental tech.

[spoiler-box]You will likely ignore Talis, if not, adjust SP as needed. 1 SP into Weak Element Amplifier/Awake Aile is enough but feel free to throw any extra SP into them if you want. I personally don't use Barta Blot because I'm Wand smacking as intended, optional. When you think of Zonde Clad, think of Ramegid T0, use uncharged Gi Zonde and set off Clad with Zonde or Gi Zonde for free damage.

Straga is top, Cattelya's 5% damage increase based on Hp (20% Hp = 1% dmg) is easy to maintain and better off using over Resurge where you'll be WA countering over Step counters.

currently, Te/Fo is likely going to be super popular combo on the games release. Solely because of how much more benefit the class has over maining Fo but unless those datamined skills I read are also released the same day as Fo, I think Rod Te/Fo's are going to be a thing for awhile

The techer hammer attack are calculate based on what stat now? isn't usually Fo would upgrade the tech raw stat more and also hammer power calc from tech too?

There's only one attack and defense stat now, so only damage type matters, and even then it only seems to matter for affixes. We'll have to wait and see.

There's only one attack stat now, and while there's 3 types of attack affixes, they're based only on the type of weapon being used and not in the type of attack, so wand's PAs and techs would all be based on the affix that boosts the power of tech weapons (I'm basing this on the descriptions of each of the attack affixes in the EN NGS beta, the descriptions were melee weapon potency, ranged weapon potency and technique weapon potency).

Oh, so they change it to one atk type now. this kidda make mixing job more possible I guess. Else, usually Hunter + Ranger was just pure bad.

but they still keep affix on weapon, so need to see first how important that is. Or if easy switch around.

Speculation on how Te/Hu vs Te/Fo will compare? I'm leaning on just using a hunter subclass for the damage reduction and massive hunter since I usually just relied on wand smacking over tech casting in PSO2... I imagine the extra survivability might translate to more DPS opportunities and if it's like PSO2 TE casting wasn't exactly a DPS powerhouse to begin with.

TeGu is running pretty well for me. I am rarely getting natural regen since dash cuts it off. The extra PP gain from normal hits compensates for this well.

With TeFo, There is definitely something to be said for two shots of 600% regen from PP Convert but, since I don't use a rod to get the regen while casting, the passive regen doesn't work as well for me. It would free up two points on the main tree for the uncharged tech skills though.

TeHu doesn't feel that great. It only has 10% passive damage reduction and Massive Hunter. It might be doable with a sword multiweapon but I doubt that will really be any better than what we get from wands.

Is wand better at applying elemental downs than spell casting or is it about the same?

I haven't done any serious testing but casting seems to be more effective in that regard. However, I do feel like I get more downs in general with wand since it builds physical downs as well, often one right after the other.

Has anyone figured out what Wand Lovers actually does? I know what the description says but I still get knocked around with it up, don't seem to block/deflect any attacks, and the duration is very different than the description (150 on, 90 off).

The i-frames seem to be right at the start, and the small delay between swings is when you have the super armor. I have noticed the duration being inconsistent though. Sometimes it's really long and sometimes it's the normal 30 seconds, I have no idea what's causing it.

That explains why I am having problems with it. It feels so inconsistent. I guess it is ok for one point. Just use on cooldown and hope it does something.

I'm struggling to gain understanding with the new affix system

So the dmg boost are now separated into weapon type:

- Strike Weapon Damage
- Range Weapon Damage
- Tech Weapon Damage

and then there are certain affixes that give boost:

- +Damage %
Example: C/エアル・ドミナ (Aer Domina)
HP +5 PP+3 Damage +1.5%

and other type which target specific element: C/サンダーウィーカーⅠ
+ 2.5% Dmg to Lightning-weak

---------------------------------------

With this surface knowledge, It's imply Wands are strictly boosted with [Tech Weapon Damage], and Assault Rifle will be boosted using [Range Weapon Damage]

Question:

1. If my units were affixed with [Tech Weapon Damage], will my Assault Rifle gain dmg boost?

2. If my units+weapon were affixed with [Tech Weapon Damage], but my Wands also has multi (Rifle as second form), will my Rifle gain dmg boost benefit?

Your rifle will deal extra tech damage, but rifles don't do tech damage, so the answer is no.

alright thanks, that makes sense.

I guess I'll pick dual-stat affixing, but on the weapon affix only for the same type

If you check under Personal > Character Information you will see where the SRT Attacks are going, +damage% applies to all 3 damage types so if you plan to use multiweapons of different damage types you should be using +damage% but this currently goes up to 1.5% whereas say tech3 goes up to 2.0% and +damage% is usually more expensive.

I've heard the opposite from Einhander, that secondary multis will inherit the stats of the primary weapon so all bonuses to the wand (or at least the tech affixes on the wand itself?) are converted into ranged damage when the rifle is used, while ranged damage won't do anything for it since they don't affect the wand.

How does +Heal boost stuff works?

There is a skill in Te skill tree called "Te Resta Field", and it gives recovery power rate +140%
does this affect my heal that also given to other player too?

What about buff from Quick Food using Healthy- material?
If you used 10x of Healthy item. it'll give +50% HP Recovery

https://i.ibb.co/JKNZTzw/0002415553.jpg

I only used these stuff for few times, and never really paid attention. but it seems the +50% hp recovery from food only affect myself (maybe it's only add multiplier for received heal / self heal)

The food bonus only boost incoming healing as far as I know, but technically it boosts it from all sources.

One day they will release a good weapon series that has both rod and talis, then you will be able to Multiweapon your Talis into your rod.

I actually tried that with rod+talis evolcoat, with this skilltree the PP regeneration actually pretty fast.

I took off the floating pillbox multirock, with that the talis weapon action could hit 4 mob at once, but I recall the PP regeneration are still same so it's meh,
not to mention it's kinda useless in EQ / gigantic (after popping talis weapon action -> continue casting with Rod),

Nice, the main point was Talis didn't have a way of dealing with Boss aggro like Wand and Rod do through their weapon actions before the Evolcoat (and Straga I guess) update.
