JP sauce here. (http://pso2.jp/players/news/27773/)

Global sauce here. (https://pso2.com/news/announcements/missionfounders0423) (Thanks to Loveless62 for pointing it out!)

Mission Pass Gold tickets will no longer be sold after May 26th's maintenance. Any leftover Mission Pass Gold Ticket(s) can be exchanged at the Recycle Shop for one EX Triboost +250%.

Mission Pass ends at Season 6 on JP and Season 15 on Global.

Farewell to Ether Factor and Mana Reverie capsules, I guess. It's kind of weird that they're not going to revive some of the content from the older ones. There's also tons of content that they still haven't implemented yet which they easily could have done via Mission Pass.

Oh well.

and they made that because of......

i understand there wont be more passes because of NGS but still why not just rotate the content , there was costumes and accesories i couldnt get just because of : hardest choices require strongest wills

The same thing is happening for Global. (https://pso2.com/news/announcements/missionfounders0423)

Since Mission Pass Gold Tickets were included with a premium purchase on Global, premium costs on Global will be reduced.

Maybe there are plans to replace the mission pass with something similar in NGS?

Now that I think about it, they are going to discontinue it without reviving the items that were never available to PC players on account of Mission Pass starting before the PC version launched. As usual, a mess.

Because everything Sega did this year follows the pattern of them not wanting to do anything more than the bare minimum to keep PSO2 alive before NGS launches, and even less so after it launches. Frankly I don't see why people are surprised, because this too follows the pattern.
