At what level does a technique's animation change?

I've been wondering for awhile when the animations for my techniques will change on my FOnewm. Im pretty bored with the lower level animations and the higher level techniques look awesome.

So at what level do they stop changing? I've heard its either 25 or 30 they look their best. I just recently found a lvl 17 zonde disk and I noticed my zonde now has 3 bolts instead of 1.. so I am assuming the spells gradually get more flashy as their levels increase.
