Just a real quick question...should I get Splinter Cell for GameCube? Why or why not...?

1) Do you own the game already for any other console? If not, proceed to 2.

2) GET IT. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_hamster.gif

I own the Xbox version and loved EVERY second of it. Not quite enough to warrant a purchase for a slightly extended version of it however (Gamecube and PS2 versions). The Xbox version is still the most technologically superior though, and (as far as I know) the only version with the Kola Cell level.
GREAT game. I literally can't enjoy Metal Gear Solid at all any more, after playing this game.

hm... wasn't kola cell one of the new levels for the ps2 version (and will be included in the cube version)?
it shortly after got released as downloadable feature for xbox version, wasnt it like that?

anyway... test it.

i should be getting Splinter Cell for GC in the first part of this coming week (or today if I'm extremely lucky). Decided to get it since I have two games for my 'cube and that's it. I've been told that supposively the Gamecube version is easier to control than the PS2 one (dunno about XBOX). I can let you know once I get it 'cos I have played the PS2 version (albeit in demo form). http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Kola Cell was released as an Xbox Live downloadable quite a while before the GameCube/PS2 versions were released.

As for getting the game, if you've already got one version, don't get another. If not, get the game!

I have the Xbox version, and I gotta say, it's a great game for the game it is. It's an excellent espionage game, with a top-notch story; but it's not going to be cool if you simply don't like that sort of game. So my advice follows eveyrone else's... Rent before you buy.
