Sec. ID for new char...

I already have a Greenill in Hard Ruins and a Whitill in Ultimate Caves, and I was going to make a RAcaseal. Should I make her Viridia, Purplenum, Skyly, or Oran. Currently, I can keep myself stocked with the basic three rare Rifles, Mechguns, Slicers, and Daggers. So, should I go for an ID that can supply my RAcaseal with rare guns, or one that can keep the rares going around between all of my characters?

I would say just pick the one you want. As far as low level rares go, any sec. id will do, so it would mainly depend on the higher rares.

Just goto a drop chart for the Section IDs.

See which rare items you want more and choose that ID.

The only ID that I would factor in for the *regular weapon types finds* would be Purplenum.

If you really love Mechguns and eventually want to find one with a high Hit %, then go with Purplenum.
It's not guaranteed that you will find one, but it will definitely increase your chances.
