FFS I just spent the last two hours starting to go through the quests so I can get the Ragol Ring. I start Native Research....get the first info...and the game wont come out of the cut-scene.....grrrreat. The only way to get around this was to switch off my Gamecube. FFS, then I realise I had done all these quests non-stop upto this point..hence the game had not saved. Nice waste of two hours. FFS this is on Ver 1.1 as well...the "fixed version"

You have to do native research in jp mode on v1.1 stupid bug they left in.

This bug only exists on ver1.1
ST fukked up the English version of that quest.

Actually, it works on any language setting except English.

I've never had problems with the Native Research quest on English setting...

You should have soft reseted the game! By pressing the B button, Y button and the START button at the same time. It will quit out of the game just like if the user selected the quit option, and then continue to save the game...
