Hunter's Licence Questions

I got a few questions. How does the charging for the hunter's licence work? Do they ask you every month if you want to renew your account or do they constantly charge every month? I am debating if I want to give them my credit card number because, like e-bay, they kept charging me until I called the Bureau to make them stop. Is there a number I can call to get this information? Thanks!

Depends which version of PSO you have, on the dreamcast version, you had to renew your HL by visiting the HL payment site, on either your dreamcast or your P.C

US Gamecube;
using your gamecube ( to make sure that you can conect your GC to the internet ok) got to the US Gamecube PSO homepage at http://www.sega.com/community/profiles/pso_gcn/pc_front/gcn_pc_main.jhtml
you will need to put in your credit card details serial number, access key and adress information.
your Hunters licence will be automaticly renewed, and the moeny will be taken from your credit card without you having to do anything, to stop them taking your money, you need to cancel your account.

EU Gamecube PSO
Using your gamecube ( to make sure that you can connect to the internet ok)go to the European Gamecube PSO site at http://www.playsega.com select your language and then you need to create an account/username and password. ( write them down!!)
you need your address, and PSO serial number and access key.
no credit/debit card details are needed when you first register, as the first month is free.

upon renewal of your hunters licence go back to http://www.playsega.com on either your P.C or gamecube, and log into your account, click on new subscription and enter your credit/debit card details.
you need to renew your hunters licence like this each time it expires, as its not done automaticly.

XBOX doesn't have a HL. It's just $50 a year for XBoX Live.

Xbox does have a HL, I am sure of it because my friend has it on Xbox and he has one so....

my friend has it and says its only xbox live and theres nothing on the box or anything that says HL

Dude, whenever you go online there is a big warning that a hunter's license is required and extra charges may apply.

Matter of fact, if you DONT purchase a hunter's license and try to go online, it sends you to the options menu to purchase one.

Mind you, the hunter's license fee is charged to whatever credit card you signed up for XBOX Live with but not for the first two months.
