My stepmom likes frogs alot, so I bought a frog mask at spencers and gave it to a flower shop in my town, and had the delivery guy put it on, and sent her a dozen roses, and a gift certificate for jcpennys.

I did'nt forget...but my brother, my nephew, my sister's boyfriend and myself went fishing all day and came back two hours after the big family dinner.

I ended up getting my mom a ring for mothers day. This jewlery store in the mall has like some special every holiday that remotely involves woman, where they sell a ring or necklace or something at a really good price. Well, with the combined forces of myself, my Dad, and sister...we got my mom, Chocolate, a cake, 2 cards...and KFC! XD And a lot of praise too. I love my momma!

I got her a pressure cooker and a snoopy card; after my shopping I went and saw the Pianst and wasted 20$ in tokens getting number one at Point Blank in the arcade.

Edit: Pixy, I feel you pain. I live in the single highest gas price state right now :/ 40 bucks every 1-2 days isn't fun.

i slept long (because i did c9 with my fonewearl the night before and then i played until 6 am. - a ep2 vhard run), then treated my mom to an ice at an ice-cafe/restaurant and spent the day with her until night. that day's night i did c3-c5 with my HUcaseal and slept long today again...

I'm tearing up our cement driveway and replacing it with bricks, and refinishing a good portion of our furniture (it withstood me growing up and it's got the scars to show it)

I didn't give her any gifts though, or cards... but I did wish her a happy day.

My dad forgot. Well, not really, he just forgot the date. We gave Mom her fountain one week before the actual day!
