Just when you think you?ve seen it all, FOX takes the world of beauty pageants to a whole new level. One lucky lady of the canine persuasion will take home the first crown and title of ?Miss Dog? on the all-new one-hour special ?THE FIRST ANNUAL MISS DOG BEAUTY PAGEANT,? Thursday, May 8 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

In the tradition of great beauty pageants such as ?Miss America? and ?Miss Universe,? this competition brings together the pick of all litters. Fifty-one female dogs representing all 50 states and the District of Columbia will come together for an evening of high stakes competition where the audience and doggie owners find out which pooch is most willing to jump through hoops for the crown.

The furry contestants will be judged on beauty, talent, poise and, yes, eveningwear. The canine cuties will be adorned in the traditional sashes of their home states as they are presented to the audience and panel of judges. In addition to the title of ?Miss Dog,? each of the four-legged contestants will be competing for the titles of ?Miss Congeniality? and ?Most Photogenic.?

I would like a feline pageant, though the more adorable the cat, the more timid they seem to be. At least from my experiences. ;_;

One day the Fox network will go out of buisness, and the world will let a unanimous sigh of relief...

I've never watched Fox for anything more than the Simpsons, and I doubt I ever will... Why must this network try and keep making money with all these moronic stunts? And so help me Jah, if I see another eating contest, I'm going to hunt down Rupert Murdoch and feed him to the dog show contestants and eathing contest contestants, and see how he likes his own programming in the most extreme form...
