DB's Shield

What's the point of this shield?

Are the crappy stats offset by something?

Does it get better when matched with the other DB gear?

I absolutely do not find it crappy. I find it has great DFP and I'd take it over EVP. Match it up with DB's Armor and a DB's Saber.

Well, compared to a similarly levelled shield/barrier, it has about 10 or 20 more DEF, but about 110 or 120 less EVP.

Do these stats "increase" when combined with the other DB gear?

dbs shield sword and frame or whatever get bonuses when there all used together, same with the flowens, delsaber and custom sets
