I'd just like to know what all the options are for getting a keyboard on the GameCube. So far I know of two...Please correct any information that is incorrect. I'm not an expert and am just listing what I know of so far (as vague as it is).
1. Datel Keyboard. Can only be purchased online from sites like Codejunkies (http://www.codejunkies.com/), and not yet released in US stores. Costs $20 without shipping and handling.
2. Keyboard adapter/converter. Connects a normal PC keyboard (or PlayStation keyboard) to the GC. Play Asia (http://www.play-asia.com/paos-13-d0b80034.html) has such a device, of which I am really tempted to order right now simply because it's cheaper and likely more reliable than Datel. Thanks goes to s3rial_one for providing the link!
Also, pantsofevilgamers.com (dead link?) has a converter that can cost up to $30 and requires you to do a bit of electronics handling.
So, what other options are there? Right now I'm really leaning towards ordering the converter from Play Asia...there's plenty of spare keyboards laying around here anyway (and the stick straight keyboards elsewhere would probably have me making more typos even if the keyboard was mapped correctly!).
