I just realized this, the Playstation is going to be 10 years old soon. Seems odd.

That makes you feel old? I don't even want to think how old the Sega Master System and Nintendo Gaming System is. Those are the systems I grew up on...

Think how old the good old Neo Geo is...and they are still making games on that damn thing.

God, I wish I could get a Neo Geo.

They've made some newly released games on the Atari 2600. Think about that!

Yeah.

Remember when that hoax about Doom came out for Atari 2600 a few years back.

And I thought the SNES version was terrible....if it was true, that would have been hilarious. I mean, look how Double Dragon played on Atari 2600.

When I was little I wanted one of those things more then anything. I think the console it self was around 600-700 bucks and the games were like 200-250 bucks a piece. There was a place near me that rented the system, that was as far as I could get my parents to go with one, for like 25 bucks you got the system and 2 games. I was so amazed when I first heard the voices on the games. It was just simple little phrases, but it was so cool back then. I hear you can pick up the MVS cabinets pretty cheap off ebay now. I want one of those and a Street Fighter II Turbo for my garage. That'd be great to just bring my freinds there when theres nothing to do at night and just play those great old school games all night.
