Well, if I remember correctly the Yas 9000M is a nice mechgun with supposedly the range of a rifle.

I know there are others too like the 7000V, which has a nice attack power (I think) for a rifle. There is also another rifle called Yaminkov 3000R which doesn't seem as powerful as the 7000V.

The last one is a handgun, the Yasminkov 2000H. Nothing special but it has an OK attack power I guess.

I don't own any either, but I compared through the items database here on PSOW. They can be found if you type in Yasminkov, if you'd like to compare yourself.

I've got a Yas 9000 and 3000... straight up I think the Yas 9000 is the best. It's freaken nuts I love it I wouldn't trade it for the world. Only problem is its so difficult for me to get any % let alone get decent %. Originally I thought Red Mechguns were better but now that I have both i think 9000 are much better even though Red Mechguns get some kickass % easily.

I'd say it's more a matter of prefference, which type of weapon you like to use. They are all really good and for me it's the look and sound effect that I like better then the actual power of the weapon. the 3000 has a max possible atp of 520. For the 7000 the max is 500 atp. The 7k is a bit cooler looking, looks more like a shotgun, even ejects a red shell casing that looks like a shotgun shell. The Handgun has the laser sight and just really looks badass. Max power on that is 360, making it a good hand gun. The mechs, 9k, are the most useful I'd say. The max atp is 100, which is pretty good for a mech gun. They look like two uzi's so they are really fun to play with. Here's pics and all the stats, see for yourself.

Yasminkov 9000s are the best of the 4. It has rifle range, so it owns certain bosses, especially Dark Falz and Olga Flow.

2000 and 9000 my favs (just cause of looks http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif )then 7000 last 3000 http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
9000 prolly the "best". Mechs own and Rangers get good ata so they dont really "need" hit% on their mechs http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif
And the sound of those uzis (or any yasminkov http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif)

Ahh, the YAZs. My original loves. Here's some detailed descriptions of them in action from a guy who's handled 3 of 'em (well, in V2, anyways).

Photon guns. Cool and Futuristic. An effective staple-type of the game in general. Nothing like a searing green ball of energy singeing the skin off a Booma, or providing it's powerful enough, BLAUing through it in a single cavity-creating blast. That just sounds cool, say it with me. *Blau*. Do a full combo. *Blau Blau Blau*. Now, take that Photon Launcher, and finish 'em off! *BLAU!*

Yet in all that, being surrounded by all these interesting "hotguns" is kinda intimidating, but dulls the senses. Eventually, we long to get back the old days, something we can relate to. Cause for true nostalgic firearms enthusiasts, no *Gew Gew Gew* will ever best the old faithful *THT-THT-THT TT-TT-TT THTHTHT* (My tongue "thutting" out a re-enactment of the 9000M fired by one with a God/Battle, that would be me, yes http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif )

YAZMINKOV 2000H - FINALLY. A chance to rise up, pull out the new Mag(num), and poppin' caps like it's 2023 http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif A fine Handgun, DAMN fine. Only HANDGUN:GULD/:MILLA would make me put this one down for a better one. The cool bolt action, the soft blast of fire out the barrel, the superficial laser sighting, and the imaginary scent of burned gunpowder any time of day you desire. It really bonds with you http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

This one's the least of the bunch, but that's not saying anything. It's a great find, and if you're a Ranger without any of the others, you'll find it hard to keep stored, no matter what you have for blastin'. High powered, high efficiency, and it just feels like they're more accurate than many Photon guns. Another defining hidden feature about this gun and the others in the series (I THINK) is that the shots also hit the mark quicker than a Photon gun. For a regular Photon gun, you see the shot travel, and it gets to a target rather quick, but you gotta think. Bullets by common sense WOULD be faster http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

One thing that puzzles me about this gun may not be a feature in the GC version (at least, until someone else can tell me for sure) but was in V2, was the Special. Like I said, it may not have one now, but did back then. And it's function was a total enigma to me. It fired the gun as usual, and struck the enemy, making them wince as usual. The funny thing is, it didn't do ANY damage (no numbers even showed up), yet it kept the enemy back like a regular shot and NEVER missed. I was a RAcast back then too, so unless it drained TP, I haven't a clue. Anyone got one?

YAZMINKOV 3000R - The only one I haven't yet gotten my hands on. Also, unlike the others in the series, this one can't be found by PURPLENUMians like me, and is furthermore a GREENILLan-exclusive (Only VIRIDIAns can nab all 4 on V2). And what a trend-setter it is. Truly the Rifle Patriarch, the model of the GREENILL ID. It may have no special, but with having the potential to be the most powerful Rifle of the game after full grind, it's still nothing to balk at. Also the strongest of the YAZs, the 3000R is a handy tool when great maximum range power is called for, which often is. Put on the Old West Cape, a old-style cowboy hat, and start gunslingin' that New Age Buffalo Rifle like you were the reason they're endangered. (on a small note, it kinda more resembles a long-barreled Luger http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif ) I rank it 3rd best despite it's power, and I'll tell you why in a moment.

YAZMINKOV 7000V - Now this one's just hella-saweeet http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif See, firing a Winchester-wannabe looks great, but it's time to get back to modern times. Grab your combat gear, activate "Tactical Riot Anihillation-Producing Systems" (also known as T.R.A.P.S., Droids only http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif ) and paint that Standstill Shield with S.W.A.T. emblems. Lastly, grab that Pumb Shottie and move move MOVE!

But wait, what's this? The gun's been modified....Automatic Pumping Action....Internal Limitless Ammunition Reserve....SmartBot Auto-Aim....Solid Slug rounds....this piece kicks @$$!

This Shottie-hottie isn't far behind in power to the 3000R, and it's even cooler to hold. So, since it doesn't have a special either, lemme tell you what puts it in the #2 spot. A little BIG something that no one I've ever seen has mentioned, so I'll spell it out for ya. See up there in the special features of the gun? That "SmartBot Auto-Aim" I mentioned? It's true, and it's beautiful.

An original hidden ability found ONLY here, The SmartBot takes place when you fire a shot. Test it on a single enemy in a room. Now, aim to the sides of it, but not at it. And what happens? You turn to face the enemy AUTOMATICALLY, and shoot them anyway. Try this again when that Normal Booma is trying to sneak up on your side from the front. Fire. *swing,*BLAU* *AAUUAAAHK!* This wonderpiece will home in and and turn any enemy within an approximate 170 degree radius in front of you into peppered steak. Repeatedly. NEVER suffer from bad camera angles and turning to shoot the wrong way again!

YAZMINKOV 9000M - and we end our list with the finest of all. Coming in at our #1 spot is something that hits home like a hailstorm of lead. Oddly looking like dual modified MP40s right outta Nazi Germany, looks mean nothing (except when you litter the land endlessly with your spent shell casings, that's fun. "I don't give a hoot, I pollute!"). Also hitting the Mechgun Chart at 3rd in power (not far behind the RED MECHGUN, not too shabby), this one's the top o' the food chain here folks. Originally a V2 exclusive to the Droids, now all Rangers can get a chance to swing these oversized Gats and spread the lead John Woo style. Add to the fact that it has the Gush ability (I repeat-GUSH!), and it's a RAcast/RAcaseal's Ultimate weapon, hands down. GULD MILLA's for humans, let them suffer the ever-lasting search for the components. With deez "syrup-sippin" autos, NOTHING can stop a RAcast http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

(imagines rap lyrics)...Just pull the triggers and throw your shells away, throw your cares away, throw their lives away, no one dares today...

(opens eyes, sees a Dimenian fall from across the room...)....?! Wait, he was HOW FAR?! Yep, graduating on the Mech's dean's list, these RaTattas know how to reach out and f*** someone. The GULD MILLA being the only other to match it's range, witness the sudden useful ness of RIFLE-Range Mechguns. Yeah, you thought Mechies SUCKED. But now...

"Can you believe that guy? I bet he sleeps with his [9000Ms]. I bet he's given them names."
(Guy overhears, steps up)"What, so you haven't given your [gun] a name?"
"Hello, hells no! YOU have?!"
"Well, kinda..."
"Hey, lets hear it."
"Well, I call mine...."Dick JUSTICE"?"
"....I rest my case."
-Max Payne (altered slightly to fit the scenario)

Well, I've said my daily rant's worth. Hope your search goes well to find a nice YAZ to fit the mood. And don't worry. No matter which one you find or trade for, you've got a winner in your hands http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Best. Post. EVER.

I named my RAcast after a mech in Front Mission 3 (Hoshun MK112, what else?). When I get a Yasminkov 7000V, it'll be fun trying to use Body Smash on Gillchichs http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Hi,

It's all a matter of taste, all Yasminkovs are pretty good.
I personally don't like the mechguns...
However I can say for sure the Yasminkov 7000V rifle is one of the best ranger weapons available.
Very good power and good hit. And ofcourse superb reach, I have to say my favourite...

Yeah, it really depends on which type you like.

If you want something strong with a guiding arrow, the 7000V's the way to go. It's like the "Weathervane of DOOM" Every time there's an essence of bad vibes blowing through the near air, it simply points to the danger. And clicks. And *BLAU*s. And adds another mark to the growing roster of victims http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

If you're into mechguns and have the power to backup your preference, give the 9000Ms a try. You can't argue with mechguns that reach across the room. I mean, the point of a mechgun is for very high-powered ATP characters to give them a try. With the great ATP to back it up (ATA too, don't forget that), it turns into a decent/good hit x NINE. The tradeoff is that these weapons prove so powerful in a 1-on-1 later on, there needs to be something to keep it in check, or give it risk. So, the range of it is lousy for a Gun. The lag time is also worse than a Shot. The risk of an Ultimate enemy rushing up after a 9-hit combo and swakking you down before you can go again is always present. Except here. Long range kills off the major downside of the Mechguns, and thus, 9000Ms and GULD MILLAs prevail and deliver.

Hmm..."Best. Post. EVER." Sounds like an award http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Hmm, My posts are always extreme in length, yet no one ever seems to care. Gee, I wonder why?
