queston about pipe trick

if ur doing the pipe trick and accidently dmg the enemy u wanted to do it on will it ever change into a rare monster?

Yeah, it still can become a rare monster. I've tested this one after accidentally hitting a group of Rappies with Gizonde.

i doubt it ...

hence the name rare monster ... i can imagine 2 rare monsters in an area .... but never in the same room ...

You can have multiple rare enemies in a room, and it doesn't even seem to be particularly rare an occurance. I have, myself, seen multiple Pal Rappies, Mil Lillies, and Nar Lillies in a single wave/pipe, and have seen multiple hildeltors in the room before last on the Forest of Sorrow Quest. The important thing to remember is not to pipe with a living rare enemy in the room, since all the enemies you haven't killed are randomly recreated.
