Yeah, I know this is completely random and I personally haven't seen anything onthis topic so I just need to ask:

What is the lowest percentage that you can find on an item? I have seen -5% on two of my items... Before I knew you could re-tek (if that information is not allowed I'll erase it as quickly as I can), I had already tekked some diska with -5 machine and a Sange with -5 A.Beast and -5%Dark...

i had a Silence Claw with -5% Machine and -15% Hit once ... probably the most worthless rare i've ever found

Despite what that guy said, -5 is the lowest. It's only obtained with a 5 base percent (the lowest base percent, since they are in multiples of 5, and 0s don't change) and tekking it to -10 below that base (the lowest you can tekk things, since the range is +10 to -10). You cannot get a negative base percent.

It could be that you can find the weapon with a negative percent, in that case, the percent could be less than -5.

On E1&2 the lowest findable percent (other than zero) is 5%. Tekking this can go as low as -5%. The shops and Challenge mode give no lower than 0% pre-tekked. On the DC & PC versions the lowest findable percent was -10%. Tekking this could go as low as -20%. The shops could go as low as -40% pre-tekked and Challenge mode could go as low as -10% pre-tekked.

In DC I found a RED Handgun -10% in 3 places and for fun I tekked it to -20% in the 3 places. I kept it as worst Red Handgun ever lol

I purposely tekked a POS Special Weapon back then as low as it could go, down an extra -10%. I did have a use for it, ironically: When my character became really strong and started killing slimes a little too much while trying to split them, this weapon came in handy. What was it?
