The "Get Together", and a show of thanks...

I had all but given up on PSO. The few people I gamed with since the end of january had left two weeks ago, and I thought I'd never find any decent people to game (and chat) with. This get together changed that.

I'd like to thank the following people, in no order of preference:

Cheech: Awesome game, and I had no idea you were such a big guy in this community ;o) Thanks for giving me your C-bringer Rifle, Like I said, I OWE YOU BIG. My ATP is maxed now thanks to you!

Terminator: Great player, it's ashame you couldn't rejoin the game to join us with DF.

Hiro Shojin: I waited a half an hour for your game to empty so I could join, and it was worth it.

Chaz: Best Guild card message ive ever seen http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_eek.gif) And a funny guy who wasnt afraid to joke around.

Gameaddict: Thanks for taking the pics of everyone in puck 9,-4. oing to post it yet?

Emperor Rage: For playing along with my "Refridgerator" joke

Enchantress: Best Force player I've ever gamed with.

Iyorim: For a guy who didn't have a Keyboard, you commonicated well. hehe. Good game.

Thats was the most fun i've ever had in any game...peroid. To everyone who was willing to trust a stranger, and even depend on them in a V. Hard DF fight and not worry about me stealing their items, I say this: Thanks for giving me a reason not to ditch this game.

99% of the games might be passworded and locked away, but at least now, I have some people to turn to for a bit of treasure hunting every now and then.

Sounds like everyone had fun. I missed the get together due to a power outage.....and the fact my isp was screwed up for 2 hours after. i had a good time too, i came a little late 11 est, and by then most games were full. the one game that was open was with a bunch lvl100 ppl. they took my little lvl43 hunter though the ruins and then on to defeat DF. i dont even think i hit him cause i was dying so much http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_razz.gif , but i had fun nonetheless and got to see the v-hard ending.

Man, I sure am one pissed gamer. I tried to figure out all of this free isp stuff for my DC, then when I tried it out, IT WOULD NOT FRICKIN WOOOORK. So I went out, rented Virtua Tennis (must....buy.....game....) and had lots of envy toward everyone having so much fun and probably going up about 5 levels.
Please try to have another big get together soon.

Damn. It's a shame I missed this get together. I had to go to a play my girlfriend was in, and I don't know if she would have liked me to miss it due to "some video game." Even worse, I'm having trouble playing the game at all nowadays. I just can't keep up my interest for the time it takes to charge through the Ruins on Hard and fight Dark Falz, and by what Sheogorath said, this is exactly what I needed to renew my interest. Things have gotten especially hard right now, since I just bought Conker's Bad Fur Day and Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix, two damn addictive games. I haven't played PSO (or my DC in general for that matter) in almost a week. I really hope someone plans another get together, because I might not even bother to read the forums anymore unless I renew my interest VERY soon.

I implore you all: HELP ME!

wow, that was a total surprise. I looked at this forum, and it had my name on it, AWESOME. I talked to Gideon about the movie/group picture thingys. And he said, all I had to do was put it up on something like geocities, and he would give everybody a like to it. Hopefully, this will be done soon. the movies look great, and i had a wonderful time.
