Question: Dark flow

Just curious, but i was looking at the weapon/armour combinations and was a bit confused by the data on making a dark flow. I understand you have to use a flow gene and a sword class weapon, but i dont understand the requirements section. Does it mean that you have to be level 100 before you can use it if you make it with a sword, and does making it with a higher lvl sword (like a calibur) make it any more powerful? Someone please explain!

Yep. You can only combine it with a Sword at level 100, while you could combine it with a Gigush at level 110 and so on. The reason for this is that higher-level swords often have better percents... if you could hold out until level 150, you could probably buy a Calibur (I think?) with 50% Hit and make one danged impressive non-combo sword. O_o

So a dark flow made from a sword wouldn't have less atp than a dark flow made from a calibur?

nope but findin a Sword with good % isnt likely a Calibur with good % is(but im repeatin some1 else here now lol)

Oh i see...

So if you find a sword with good % then you can make a dark flow at a lower level. What about the +? do you need the weapon to be grinded to the stated level before you can make it into flow?

I've found a gigush with these %'s:
/15 native/0 a-beast/10 machine/0 dark/45 hit/
Is it worth changing into dark flow? And do u need to equip it to change it?

...Maybe not. The hit percentage is the only redeeming feature, but when looking for an ideal regular weapon to save for upgrading, I'd want mine with "Premium" stats. This to me would be any combination of Percentages totaling %80, but preferrably at least %100.

My best so far for the DARK FLOW would be a King's Claymore with 0/35/15/40. I could do much better, but I haven't found any better in a long time. Oh well.

For DARK METEOR, I've saved a Launcher with a very useful 0/25/0/50/25.

I'll probably be specializing in RAINBOW BATONs eventually. Once my Redria FOmar performs well in the Ultimate Forest, there's nothing stopping me from pipehunting the Hildetorrs and gathering up all the Magic Rock: Iritista's that I'll need. I've already found some handsome Diskas, but my best example is usable 10 levels earlier: a Sawcer with something like 0/40/50/35

It's always worth it waiting for awesome stat totals, cause once you make the weapon, that's it. A great upgrading item demands great stats, I say.

The Sword or Calibur or whatever u use it on needs 2 have a max grind on it or Gene Flow wont work.
I have a Calibur 0/50/0/35/45 (would make a nice Dark Flow just need 1 lv up 2 make it lol)

I wouldn't count on too many of those magic stones...I've found over 20 Hildertors and still haven't got one.

Gene can only be acquired from Olga Flow- With an Oran in Ultimate. Have fun. :}

correction. oran is the only verified section id that found the olga flow id. but it doesn't mean that no one else can find it, it just means the only verified find was by an oran person. but in the sega charts, there is a ? for all section ids for olga flow ultimate drop

i know of two people who have found this gene off flow and only one of them is oran the other is a skyly and the person who i managed to get the gene off (cost me my tsumikiri, zanba and 500,000 meseta too) i just wanted a great sword for ult forsest and managed to get hold of a giguish with 65% native and 50% machine dont know if i shouldve held out for Dark and hit but i guess ill just have to live with it.

I got the magic stone Iritista from a Hildetorr on my first try...also got a God/Battle in the same room lol
