The weaps he gives you...have boosted stats from their regular counterparts. For example, the rifle I got and the rifle I found in the caves had different stats.

The quest rifle had +40 ATA

Really? I never noticed that, In fact I just muttered "Great. A crappy rifle" and ran off and sold it. However, if thats true that is very interesting. If it boosts ATA by 40 then does it require more ATA than a normal one?

The weapons Ozwald gives you have random %. And almost always one of the % is a hit bonus. Otherwise the weapons are the same as any other weapon you could find.

i got a few items from the quest but none had hit%

really!?! my god hand also has 30 hit, and 20 A beast
